Back from The Lakes and Dreaming about Sheds

Well, it's my annual summer week off work and J and I have just returned from a few days in Windermere. It was boiling on days 1 and 3 but the middle day was very wet. Wet but warm. We hired a Laser Bahia on that day and cruised the lake. That was great fun. Now we are back and preparing for a friends' afternoon tea in our garden tomorrow - despite the forecast of rain for most of the day. I've also discovered that there's a programme on Channel 4 next week called 'Shed of the Year Awards' or similar. This has me very excited and inspired to start getting my huge shed repaired - it was here when we moved in. Two sheds in fact, one is a small Wendy house type affair with no roof and full of rubbish. The other is much more sturdy but needs the roof repaired and probably a new door. It has two separate rooms and could be an excellent man-cave (as they say)...
